When B. Tortorici put paint to canvas for the first time, the paths of that journey be came clear.

Tortorici's bold colors and heavy application of paint work to instill the viewer with an energy that can be felt, as well as seen. Tortorici's art is fearless...and knows no limits. His extensive body of work is constantly evolving, encompassing mural size paintings, furniture, wall sculpture, 3-D sculpture and site specific commission work. In recent years, Tortorici's utilization of metals in assemblage, abstractions, collage and sculptural totems has produced some of the artists most distinctive work, particularly the very elegant polished metal assemblage and collage work that constitute his multi award-winning "Metallia' series.

Tortorici's passion for his art is evidenced by the personal involvement he requires with his collectors. "...a piece is not complete until I install it, until I look into their eyes and see that they love the work, then the circle of creation is complete for me. This is why I en courage patrons to visit the gallery, join me as I work in the studio. By encouraging interaction with my co lectors, they feel the passion I feel and the sharing of my art attains a new level."
